I know, it’s a bit of a slow burner at the moment. I’ve been busy. Not unavailable, just really tied up.
One part of it is that I’m in the middle of a weight loss and body re composition journey. That alone takes a few hours out of my weekly schedule. It started back in spring, and honestly, I wasn’t sure I’d stick to it. But I’m still on track. Down 10 kg and building muscle. Progress is slow, but steady. I’m cooking almost everything myself these days, and it’s working.
But that’s just one side of things. I also bought a second car. A VW Caddy 2K from 2006. Which I’m converting into a tiny camper. I’ve already swapped out the entire front interior with parts from a VW Touran. And I mean everything. From the dashboard to the carpet. It completely changes the feel of the car. I’ve started insulating parts too, and it’s still a work in progress. Maybe I’ll post some pictures later.
Aaaand I’ve also “side-graded” my second computer. It’s now running on a dual-CPU Xeon lga 2011 platform that I snagged cheap on eBay. Sure, a cheap China Board, but at the end of the day all boards are made over there.
Anyway, just a quick hello to say I’m still alive. The Novara stuff is cooking slowly but that’s a good thing, I think. I’ve got some ideas for how I’ll push the universe forward. I mean, that is kinda my baby.
